| Overview | Judith McInnis works in the business section in the Columbia office. She has been with the Firm since her graduation from law school in 1986. She has developed expertise in the areas of commercial real estate development, banking and lending, and workouts. Judith regularly represents commercial real estate developers in their projects throughout the Southeast. Her areas of practice concentration include shopping center, office, mixed use and resort development.
She has also represented international companies and national REITs in their South Carolina operations. Judith represents lenders in acquisition, construction and permanent real estate financing transactions. She has experience in conduit lending, mezzanine financing and REMICS as well as serving as trustee and letter of credit counsel in bond financings. During downturns in the economic cycle, Judith's experience in lending and real estate has proved invaluable in reworking and collecting numerous troubled credits.
